Choosing the Right Artist for You

We know that choosing a preservation artist can be overwhelming. That’s why we cater our services specifically to the locals of Jacksonville, Florida. When you book Flowressence, you’ll be able to drop off your flowers directly into our hands— no shipping delays or worries. When finished, we then return the favor by hand-delivering your project to you.

Flowressence’s plethora of experience and expertise allows us to bring that established company feel to a small, personal scale.

So, why choose us?

There are a handful of things that set us apart.

On technique: We are one of the few preservation artists in the world who deconstruct almost every flower, petal by petal. This method goes hand in hand with color-correction to make the flowers appear as fresh as possible, for both pressed and 3D styles. Our dedication to making your blooms come to life and last forever means we have mastered this complex process to give you the best result.

On Quality: Frames at Flowressence are made-to-order. All of our frames are made of solid wood types with a special sealant to bring out their natural tones. We believe that every element of an heirloom deserves to be made with the highest quality and durability, so that your art lasts not only a lifetime, but generations to come. During every part of the preservation process, we strive for perfection.

On accessibility: We prioritize booking local clients. You can be sure that you will get that “small-business” feel, marked by involvement in the process, thorough communication, attention to detail, and personal touches — every time. (Note, we still do serve nationally!)

On payment: We offer interest free payment plans, because we believe the cost is worth it.

Where It Started….

It all started when my wedding venue job and artsy coffee shop collided. At the end of every event, I would watch buckets of flowers worth hundreds–even thousands!– of dollars being poured right into the trash. One night, I decided to save a single bouquet from its dreadful fate. The only problem was… the beautiful arrangement lasted only a few days, if I were fortunate.

“Here’s a bag of silica gel,” the owner of Respite Cappuccino Court said. “I never got around to opening it, but you can use it to preserve those wedding flowers.”

And so it began. There started a year of experimenting with various ways to make beauty last a lifetime– and now, I’d like to share that experience with you. For the clients of Jacksonville and the state of Florida:
Whether it’s working with you closely to create exactly what you want or completely taking it off your hands and mind so you can relax post-wedding, I got you.

xoxo,

Carly
